Handbag Pick: Marc by Marc Jacobs Classic Q Backpack
Summer is almost upon us and for sure, most of you have someplace or some vacation in the offing. As for me, I have some trips planned and were gonna start out early. As were having a trip already this weekend, then the next weekend. Then we have a couple of out of the country trips planned. Of course, these trips are making me run around and check if I have working luggages and bags.
Thankfully, my penchant for collection travel bags is paying off so I know I have a couple of traveling bags to rely on. I’m pretty picky when it comes to travel bags and I wouldn’t be caught lugging around aluminum briefcase. I love color when it comes to my bags and of course it has to be pretty too.
But since my luggages are all colorful (think red, purple, pink and pale blue! hahaha) so i figured I should throw in something neutral. So I went right ahead and did my bit of searching for some backpacks. What I wanted was something elegant, and in neutral shades.

And I feel headlong in love with this. Marc by Marc Jacobs Classic Q Backpack - $344.99. It’s available in Creme and Dirty Martini shades.

I wish I could afford this right now. Hahaha. But yeah, this is really what I have in mind. It’s pretty, elegant yet with that casual fun vibe. I want. If I can’t have this then I’m searching high and low for something cheaper than this but with the same look.

Handbag Pick: Valentino Black and Beige Leopard Tote
Here’s one gorgeously elegant tote bag from Valentino. Love the structured clean shape, but the details add a little charm and luxury to it. Versatile with the use of small handles or you may use the thin shoulder straps. Made of 100% leather and available at StyleBop for 1.859 €.

Handbag Pick: Bottega Veneta Rust Karung Bag
It’s been awhile since I went surfing for some handbags. Not that the interest waned. I was just busy. Doing this and that, researching things like hampton bay ceiling fans and generally neglecting this blog. Sigh. I try as much as I can though to update when I have time. I got busy again looking for pretty bags mainly coz Christmas is drawing near and I’m planning to give my mom a handbag. She’s crazy about them, and I think that’s where I got the ‘handbag fever’. I grew up with her always shopping for bags and I guess it was a natural thing to have similar interest.

I kinda fancy browns and rust colored bags this time. And it was love at first sight with this one – Rust Karung Bag from Bottega Veneta. It’s just gorgeous, isn’t it? It’s made of a gorgeously rich karung snake leather and I love the unstructured and very roomy design. Just my kind of bag. But my gosh, it costs $4,650! I can’t possibly afford this but I could just ogle right?
Handbag Pick of the Week: Miu Miu Leather Trimmed Raffia Tote
There’s is something so casual, breezy yet very chic about this Miu Miu raffia tote with leather trim. I guess I was kinda getting tired of seeing all leather. At least this one has a very interesting texture! This perfect summer tote bag is available at Net-a-Porter for $1,395.

I love that it can be carried and worn different ways. And I do that very chic look shown on the photos. The site says the look includes: Miu Miu cardigan, shorts, Kain top, Philippe Audibert cuff, Daisy Knights ring, K Jacques St Tropez shoes. Check out these items from the link above.

After this I’ll be cruising for some home decor items, metal step stools, home furnishings to feature. I’m kinda in the mood for some home styling as you can see on my previous posts and putting together different fashion looks has taken a back seat. But not to fret, I’m also assembling together some Fashion-for-Less looks and will be posting it soon.
