It’s been awhile since I went surfing for some handbags. Not that the interest waned. I was just busy. Doing this and that, researching things like hampton bay ceiling fans and generally neglecting this blog. Sigh. I try as much as I can though to update when I have time. I got busy again looking for pretty bags mainly coz Christmas is drawing near and I’m planning to give my mom a handbag. She’s crazy about them, and I think that’s where I got the ‘handbag fever’. I grew up with her always shopping for bags and I guess it was a natural thing to have similar interest.

I kinda fancy browns and rust colored bags this time. And it was love at first sight with this one – Rust Karung Bag from Bottega Veneta. It’s just gorgeous, isn’t it? It’s made of a gorgeously rich karung snake leather and I love the unstructured and very roomy design. Just my kind of bag. But my gosh, it costs $4,650!  I can’t possibly afford this but I could just ogle right?

Now on to my favorite part of this blog: Picking out Handbags and Shoes! Yup, I love to surf shop hence my constant ‘finds’ posts. I’m picking red because well, that’s a pretty auspicious color and its almost V-day. There are lots of choices but I love this Rebecca Minkoff Tryst Everyday Bag because of its structure. It’s roomy, can be a tote bag with that short handle and could also double as your shoulder bag with the extra shoulder strap.
