Just Excited..

That quote is something I take to heart. It’s true and I think if one just stops learning, it’ll be a boring life. I’m pretty excited about going back to school! I didn’t imagine I’d be saying that but I am really excited. Hopefully things will fall into place and I could pursue another degree, this time in computer science and I also plan to continue on and get my Master’s in Information Technology. It’s a passion for me and I’m glad I finally found a field I really love even if its about 10 years later..

I already have a degree in Business Management, but this field I don’t really fancy. I guess I was just taken by the tide, with lots of my friends taking it plus my parents urging me to pick a major when I wasn’t really ready.

I look forward to learning new things and practicing it. This time I’ve chosen to go to a distance learning school so I get to manage my time and where I don’t have to be physically present in school so I’ll still continue to live here in with my family in Cambodia. It’s an exciting prospect, and I’m looking forward to challenges, pressures and preparing for projects, lsat prep, meeting other people and oh just about every exciting thing each new student experiences..

As to why I’m pursuing this after sometime, well hubby encouraged me to go for it. It’s true we had an agreement before that once he finishes his post graduate studies it’ll be time for me to think of what I want to do with education and career. In any case, another field of expertise would work well on my favor, right? And just between you and me, I think a woman who has something between her ears aside from what lipstick shade to put on, is definitely a lot sexier, so you can say I’m doing it for vanity’s sake. hehe.. Wish me luck!
